16:29:35 From Fabien Benetou : I say “funny” a bit dismissively because even though I (obviously) like the concept I believe most of us do it already in a way (specific music ambiances and cafes) and ironically most reMarkable user do NOT want to be facing a desktop. computer or

16:37:57 From Fabien Benetou : it’s actually pretty straighforward with the right data and the right library, either timeline or POIs on map (OSMap is free and has a good API) and synchronizing both is not particularly challenging.

16:40:40 From Fabien Benetou : https://mobile.twitter.com/utopiah/status/1110576751577567233 but wasn’t in VR, rather for VR.

16:41:17 From Fabien Benetou : no idea if https://github.com/visjs/vis-timeline can easily be extended to 3D/VR or if it’s been done before.

17:42:57 From Mark Anderson : Sadly no. It’s an app (free) on Oculus with some pay (subscribe) features—e.g. importing CSv. Open source code – no. I mainly tried it because (a) it’s the only Oculus app offering such functionality and I didn’t have to build the tech stack, such as others here have the expertise to do for themselves.
