Ideal Document

The criteria for what an ideal document might be, include that it cannot be a difficult undertaking to create, and that the interactions for a user when dealing with the document by itself or in concert with a large amount of other documents can be flexibly interactive.

For the near future, the ideal document will need to remain compatible with current technical, academic and social infrastructures.

It will need to be open and accessible.

The ideal document should be designed to support our Research Questions & Use Cases, but not be limited by them.

Above all, the document should augment the human mind, not aim to replace it.

The ideal document is richly self aware, spatially aware, semantically marked up, connected to sources and connectable.
