When designing integrations for authoring in XR we make the expectation that there will be some data available about the knowledge objects in the environment, though usually not everything listed below.
Metadata
- Title/Name of object or Term
- Date created
- Date modified
- Date published (date of paper if in a newly created PDF fx.)
- Author(s) with potentially connected or included basic bibliographic data and/or publication history
- Author is User (for easy selection of user data)
- Was Shared By
- Size (MB, Pages, Word Count etc.)
- Definition (if object is a defined concept/glossary term)
- Content with Visual-Meta/equivalent
- Source
- Default Visual Attributes (color, shape etc.)
- Current Visual Attributes (color, shape etc.)
- Position in Volume (position in XYZ space inside a parent Volume)
- Position in Environment
- Locked/Unlocked Status
